In conjunction with other campus departments and business units, OMBO works to facilitate partnerships with local and regional leaders to match the extensive resources of UC Berkeley to prominent community needs. Bike to Work Day

Bike to Work/School Day is an annual event celebrating the bicycle as a healthy, clean, alternative means of commute transportation. We encourage students, faculty, and staff to participate, and we look for sponsorship opportunities to contribute locally to this national tribute to alternative transportation.

Habitat for Humanity

UC Berkeley demonstrates its strong support for the Habitat for Humanity affordable housing program through the activities of its campus chapter, a dedicated group of volunteers working to build awareness, raise funds, and contribute hands-on labor to help construct local Habitat homes. OMBO works with campus resources and internal and external business partners to ensure optimal sponsorship and promotional opportunities are leveraged to support the chapter’s mission.
